Effective for all orders placed through sitesbybc.com.
Sites by B.C. builds and delivers a custom website based on the tier you select at checkout:
The build fee is one-time and covers the initial design, content build, and deployment of your site based on your intake information. It does not include ongoing hosting or future changes — see Section 2.
"Request This Template" orders
Some templates shown in the library are samples — a look-and-feel reference, not yet a live, ready-to-deploy build. Ordering one is priced the same as any live template at its tier, but the site itself is built after you order, typically within 24–48 hours. This turnaround is an estimate, not a guarantee — matching the reference closely sometimes takes a round or two of back-and-forth, and delivery time can run longer as a result.
You choose one of the following. You are never required to choose hosting to receive your finished site.
Option 1 — Own it outright
Once your site is built, you receive:
You may deploy it under your own domain immediately, with no ongoing payment or obligation to Sites by B.C.
Future changes are your responsibility. This is a custom-coded site, not a drag-and-drop builder — making changes requires basic web development knowledge or hiring a developer (Sites by B.C. or anyone else). No ongoing support is included with this option. If you later decide you want Sites by B.C. to handle changes for you, you may switch to Option 2 at any time (see Section 9).
Option 2 — We host it ($39.99/month, or $399.90/year — 2 months free)
Billed monthly or annually via Stripe (your choice), cancel any time (see Section 9; annual plans are non-refundable for the remaining term once billed, see Section 8). Includes:
Domain — you choose one of two paths at signup:
Upon full payment of the one-time build fee, you own the final site's content, copy, and any custom photography/media you provided. Sites by B.C. retains the right to display the finished site in its own portfolio and template showcase unless you opt out in writing.
Featured placement:Separately, Sites by B.C. may — at its sole discretion, regardless of the tier you purchased — select your site for more prominent featured placement on sitesbybc.com (e.g., as a named case study rather than the general showcase pool). This is never guaranteed and is not part of what you're purchasing at any tier. You may opt out of featured placement at any time, for any reason, including privacy — just let us know and we'll remove it.
If you choose Option 2 (hosting), Sites by B.C. retains the hosting infrastructure and deployment access for as long as you remain a subscriber; site ownership as described above is unaffected.
Domain ownership: if you provided your own domain, you own it — Sites by B.C. has no claim to it at any time. If Sites by B.C. registered the domain on your behalf, it is registered with you as the listed owner/registrant of record, not Sites by B.C. — Sites by B.C. manages the technical DNS configuration only, for as long as you remain a hosting subscriber. This means the domain is always yours regardless of whether you continue the hosting plan; see Section 9 for what happens at cancellation.
Your intake and initial build include a number of revision rounds to bring the site in line with your original brief, based on the tier you purchased:
Each round is typically turned around within 24 hours of your request, though this is a target, not a guaranteed delivery time.
This does not include requests to change the fundamental structure, layout, or template chosen at intake — significant scope changes may be quoted as a new project.
You represent and warrant that all content you provide for your site (photos, headshots, video, bios, credits, third-party materials, and any other media) is either owned by you or used with proper authorization from its owner. Responsibility for the rights to this content is yours, not Sites by B.C.'s — you agree to indemnify and hold Sites by B.C. harmless from any claim, demand, takedown notice, or legal action brought by a third party (including a photographer, agency, or rights holder) arising from content you provided or asked Sites by B.C. to include on your behalf.
Sites by B.C. builds and hosts your website but does not guarantee any business outcome — bookings, auditions, casting calls, representation, or other results — from having a website. Services are provided on an "as-is" basis; Sites by B.C. does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of your site or of any third-party hosting infrastructure it relies on.
By checking "I agree" at checkout, you release Sites by B.C. from any claim for lost bookings, missed auditions, missed opportunities, lost income, or reputational harm arising from your website's performance, availability, or content — whether caused by site downtime, a delay in completing your build or a requested edit, a bug, or any other ordinary operation of the service. This release does not apply to claims arising from Sites by B.C.'s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
Unknown claims. You expressly waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which reads: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." This waiver does not extend to the gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud carveout above.
Price changes:Sites by B.C.'s monthly hosting price is subject to change. If your price changes, you'll be notified in advance of your next billing date. You are never required to accept a new price — if you don't want to continue at the new rate, you may switch to Option 1 (own it outright, see Section 2) at no additional cost, taking your current site files with you. You're welcome to return to Option 2 hosting at any time in the future, at whatever the then-current rate is.
Chargebacks & payment disputes:If you don't recognize a charge or have a billing concern, contact Sites by B.C. directly first — most issues can be resolved without involving your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a legitimately-ordered and -delivered service, without first attempting to resolve it directly with Sites by B.C., is a breach of this agreement. Sites by B.C. reserves the right to contest any chargeback with evidence of the order (this agreement, order confirmation, delivery records) and to suspend service or pursue collection of amounts reversed through a fraudulent or bad-faith dispute.
You may cancel Option 2 (hosting) at any time, online and without having to call or speak to anyone, at sitesbybc.com/manage-subscription — enter your email and we'll send you a link to manage or cancel your plan directly. You can also cancel by emailing build@concentricintelligence.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no partial refunds for the remainder of a paid month. Upon cancellation, you may request a final export of your site files to self-host (Option 1 terms then apply).
If Sites by B.C. registered your domain on your behalf, cancellation does not affect your ownership of it (see Section 3) — you keep the domain and may point it anywhere you like, including a self-hosted export of your site or a new provider. You are responsible for the domain's ongoing annual renewal cost directly with the registrar once Sites by B.C. is no longer managing it.
Sites by B.C. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of your website, including lost business, downtime from third-party hosting providers, or issues arising from changes made by you or a third-party developer to a site you own outright under Option 1.
Sites by B.C.'s total liability arising out of or related to this agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the total fees you paid to Sites by B.C. in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $500, whichever is greater.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under this agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts of California, and both parties consent to jurisdiction there.
Sites by B.C. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from anyone using its services. If you believe content on a site built or hosted by Sites by B.C. infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at build@concentricintelligence.com. To be effective, your notice must include:
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material. Repeat infringer policy: Sites by B.C. will terminate the account and site of any client who is the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices, at its sole discretion.
The agent designated above will be formally registered with the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory — until that registration is complete, this email is the operative contact for notices under this policy.
Severability. If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.
Entire agreement. This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the complete agreement between you and Sites by B.C. regarding the services described here, and supersedes any prior discussions, quotes, or representations on the same subject.
Assignment. You may not assign this agreement without Sites by B.C.'s written consent. Sites by B.C. may assign it in connection with a sale or transfer of its business.
Changes to these terms. Sites by B.C. may update these terms as the business changes. The terms in effect when you placed your order govern that order; material changes affecting ongoing hosting will be communicated in advance of your next billing date.
